Looking really hot! I'm curious as to how well the red paint sticks to the blue pci slot clips and the drive bay plastic. I was afraid to paint those on mine.

it stuck very well so far. thinking of doing a clear coat on them though, to help it from flaking off.

I just sprayed on flat black, no primer or anything. Though I took out the tool less clips and used screws.

What did you use to cut the plastic under the top panel?

just used wire cutters i had in my tool kit

Just saw this thread and it's exactly what i'm doing - already done the cutting [need to borrow a dremel to finish it off] and completely dismantled the case.

The paint - you just went straight onto the metal/plastic without preparation?

Also what is the name of the paint you used? [Brand/colour] want to see if i can get it here in Australia.... [the red paint - going to go black inside]

No i preped the case before i painted.

Sanded case > Primer > then Paint.

with the plastic i just went ahead and painted it. all overs were preped.

i think the paint was rustoleum painters choice. or something like that.
