Thanks i would love some more ideas thats all i could come up with so far, i considered doing a acrylic front panel but CD has done it before and it would cost a lot for a 17"x6"x.5" peice of plexi and this is actualy kind of a budget build. Oh and that riveting took forever, i had no idea drilling out rivets would take so long.

Thanks this is going to be my first paint job so i thought i would do it right, anyhow this way i can do one peice of it first and test out my ability to get a good finish.

As of right now it appears i will get 400 bucks next week to put towards the build but before then i already ordered some sleeving and a psu so ill update you when that gets here monday-tuesday.

Alright minor minor update, ive decided to add to the list of plans 2 remote opening dvd drives which will be used in conjunction with the 2 ccfl switches to have a vandal/toggle switch panel to control the cd roms(which will stealthed) and control the lighting ^_^. the position of this panel with 2 vandal switches and 2 toggle switches is yet to be decided tell me if you guys have any suggestions for em as im having trouble deciding where they will go. Keep in mind guys i am very open to ideas on what to do on this mod so feel free to shoot any ideas at me. Oh and sorry about the huge wait on any real build progress i should have something to show you on tuesday and a much more serrious update around next monday once i get my hands on some money.

EDIT: After a bit of thinking their is no good place i can think of to put the vandals and toggles so i think for the time being the plan will be to ditch one of the two dvd roms and have my 9 slots go as follows with mesh covering eash slot
dvd-rom stealthed with mesh and open button rewired
custom panel thingy with 1 vandal switch and two toggles will have vandal in center with toggles to right and left and meshed all around
rheobus 6 fan controller meshed
