Anyway, back to the Mozart


Day 4

I brought the case in to start laying the loop out, but I didn't get to far yet, lol.

I'll have to move the rad from where it is in these pics to allow for easier access to the HDD cages. Still got to mount the second rad, plus the pump.



I think my fix to the mobo tray is going to be ok..... However, even though I will never see it, I still have a need to make it perfect, lol



I got the base primed as well,



I ran out of black base coat, so I used a blue I had laying around.... It'll be interesting to see the difference in the parts from those that had a black base.



Here's with one coat of the top coat, I think it's going to look good... A nice contrast between the darker blue on the rest of the case... I still have to sand and do the last coat,

As for the Rad, it will end up being mounted vertical in the case behind the 5 1/4 bays. That should leave me enough room to work in. I'm not 100% yet on the placement of the 120mm rad though. I may rig it to mount to the 80mm fan hole under the PSU, if it will fit there. I will only be running one pump this time so there maybe enough room for it.

Lol, ya eh... lot's of dust....

The system was running for about a year or so... I dusted it out alot with the cans of air, but they seem to not get everything.

I'm hoping for another updated later on today

Guess this is day 5, lol....

Well I didn't get much done the last few days, been kinda busy, lol... I did get the HDD's mounted and installed, Mobo's in, all the fans in the front are in, The Rad is moved and remounted, WB is installed on the CPU... Seems like alot, but it's really not

The paint seems to be holding up better the before, which is nice, however I did manage to ding a few parts and will have to touch them up.

Rack of HDD's anyone There is my 74GB Raptor, 2x36GB Raptors and my 4x500GB 7200.11's that will be plugged in to my new Perc5



Fans anyone?

HDD's in Man that was tight, lol... These things are ment to fit w/o paint, add a few layers and it can be fun to put back together, lol





Well that's it for tonight.

I think I'm going to pick up a Silverstone EAS 5 1/4 bay controller, then I will be able to control all the fans from the O/S.

I think I'm going to make a custom badge for the front to cover all the front panel connections as I never use them.
