At this stage I am trying to think about doing some hardware upgrades:
1. A good OCable AM2 motherboard (mine has 1% room for OC)
2. CPU fan.. the only reason I kept stock fan is because of its low profile and small width. I only have about 4.5" headroom (bascially not higher than the graphics card)

Hey maybe this can help you. Heres a shot of my Orb cooler. I know you mentioned not being able to use one in the air cooling forum but it dawned on me....this thing has all kinds of room except if your ram has tall heatspreaders and is right under it.


It was on this board as well, very near the capacitors shown in the pic. You should have plenty of clearance. They design them with that in mind.

I slowly began to do cable management by cutting off some extra wire:



Being lazy, I did first round of sanding/polishing and put the pieces together:



I squeezed in all the components and booted..



I still need to:
* drill in case fan holes and mount the fans
* replace blue fan LEDs with red less bright ones
* mount power supply cover
* decide where to mount and drill hole for power button
* and more

PC runs at high temperatures, but that was true in old case as well. CPU fan is not even my biggest concern. My graphics card (geforce 8600 with Zalman after-market fan) runs at 104F to 115F even at highest voltage (12V).

I haven't had a chance to post pictures and write any updates for a while. Here is the current status..

I did some soldering: change LEDs (blue to red) on case fans and DVD drive:



Mounted case fans:



I got my Geminii S CPU fan, which fit perfectly into the case:



Desoldered and mounted the plug and the switch to the PSU cover:



I got one of 24x4 LCD screens, but I am not sure I will end up using this one (I need a red one):
