Thank you, XaNe!

Thank you again, prracer6!

Thank you once more, CattleRustler!

I did a few wire management things, cracked open external IR receiver and dell media keyboard.. oh yes and I broke a parallel cable and resoldered it for my HD44780 lcd screen.

<I will try to add progress pictures tonight>

I am a bit stuck with my lcd. It gets power signal fine, but shows square boxes - no data data signal :\

I am posting a question in another section about this..

A picture of mounted PSU plate (still needs a mesh):

As mentioned in my previous posts, I got myself an HD44780 type lcd display. I took apart and resoldered a parallel port cable to work with it:

I was able to get the power working, but I still can't get any data signal...

Thanks, coffeejunky!

I decided that I didn't want case fans and power supply fully exposed, so I got a wire mesh book/page holder from Staples and vandalized it:

Right-side case fan grill:

Good idea with the mesh Particularly on the PSU.
Just one thing. Is there any way you can easily mount the mesh behind your red fan grill? instead of in front of it?

this is shaping up quite nicely. TBH I don't have the first clue about LCD screens or I would be more than happy to help. Once you OC your machine, please post how cool the Gemini keeps the CPU. I replaced the orb cooler pictured above with a bigger (massive) orb cooler. I really hate life every time I have to take it off and put it back on for whatever reason, SOO difficult to replace. That's the 1 complaint I have about it. When I was at the store looking for a new cooling solution, I almost picked up a Gemini instead of the orb - but how can you go wrong with 78CFM of raw cooling?
