The theme is serenity, peace, tranquility. even with all this stuff, it will be something that will make me feel at peace. there are a few things, i'm going to leave up to you guys. like dye color, LED colors, CCFL colors.

Well with that out of the way. let's talk about this rig. i'm not going to butcher the powersupply cables this time. there will be no terminal switch. however, i'll be using a psu extension. the best example of what it is, is this.

however, even if i'm using that... there will be a smaller version one too. i want to be able to use a switch to turn both off.. i'm not too sure if i'll need two switches because of the 5v and 12v lines(but i think i do).

Lighting. might have 4 12" CCFLs. LEDs on the pumps will be orange + an undecided. orange is definitely one i'm using. i have no idea why but i like orange very much right now. LEDs will be done by using molex connectors connected to the psu extension. that way i don't need to go through a real pain in my arse with the terminal again. don't get me wrong, the terminal is awesome but its a real pain in the butt to do and undo sometimes.

wire management definetely needs to be done much better this time around. i'll need to think of what i can do to accomplish that. if you have ideas, please say them! i love the responses i get on OCN. always much appreciated.

I have most of it now. just need to get a few things done, like, getting some samples powder coated to see if its good enough. to actually get my case so i can take the beauty apart.

sadly, i won't have that much time working on this mod. it will usually be on weekends so updates should be weekly or bi weekly. we'll see how things go. I hope you guys will enjoy this mod as much as i work on it!

Day 1

oh my pictures already?! these are just pictures of the stuff i have at hand right now.

here is 3x of the UN pump stands, 2x anodized fillports that will be used on the drain line. the zalman fan controller. oh! and underneath that is 11x feser xtenders. alot huh? not sure if i'll be able to use them on this mod but we shall see!

here is the q9550 and the two hdds.

these are bitspower Ls. i have some Ts coming in too. again. i'm not too sure if i'll be using them. above the Ls are two thermometers that i will be using with the Ts at the end of each loop.

here my friends is where you come in! the colors i have are.... clear(uv blue), black(uv blue), yellow, green, blue, and red. all in that order. oh! of course, we can mix dyes to create colors that aren't listed. base colors FTw! and on that left side is pt-nuke! gotta love that stuff!

here are two sets of mnpctech billet alu feet. one set is too short so i got two sets to stack ontop of each other like so.

here are the guinea pigs.. i mean, the parts that need to get powder coated before i get the rest of it done. these are actually from my v1200.

here are both loops being tested and cleaned. the current pic is on its third cycle. erh.. i've already emptied it and refilled it twice. so this is the final one before taking it apart and awaiting the case.

loop 1. cpu and nb blocks.

loop 2. 3x gpu blocks. its amazing how much restriction there is. in comparison of the two loops. the gpu loop is slowed down soo much. it was just shocking.

the feser red o-ring that i got from watercoolingshop. great service from marcus! props to him for putting them up on the site the day i asked about them!

and the green o-ring! i'm loving them soo much right now with just distilled that i'm even considering not using any dyes. there goes that money on the dyes... -__-
