You're Welcome.

Can you get a picture or two of what you did to the power and reset buttons to actually make them work, please?

You should make custom cables/interface to make your keyboard/mouse work in the controller ports. But I guess most people go wireless for HTPCs. Great work so far, I knew you could do it!! (wink, wink)

How about a way to put the serial ports back in the front, wire them up where you could actually use the Sega Controllers for emulated game?

*EDIT*

If you are up for soldering, here is something that you could consider to making a couple of serial ports in the front work with a USB controler, where you could just plug in a Sega Controller and have ultimate fun as if it were a console still: http://www.retrousb.com/index.php?productID=124

Umm, I don't think they are commonly used these days, but I did have to use one serial port on my computer for my battery backup, that was it. Though these days you see those USB.

Hmm, I can't think of anything else that may use serial.

I would love to see those small motherboards like you are using for this project have an eSATA port. Would be great to hook up to a harddrive with.

Serial ports can be used for mice, modems, networking 2 PCs, UPS, GPS, and lots of diffrenent commercial and industrial equipment (like EKGs, barcode scanners, those credit card swipe things at the supermarkets, and so on).
