1 side finished. I will be making one huge update and deleting everything i have done so far today and putting it in 1 big post later.

All that was done with 1 cutting blade. My technique is getting better.

Thank you! Both sides are cut out now. Next I am moving along to the front where the fan mounts and the front panel in front of the fan. Once I do that, I will be putting the dremel away for an indefinite amount of time. This has been a blast so far. I did end up changing blades halfway through the second side, not because I used it all, I just used enough to not permit the proper cutting angle and the cuts started to look funny.

Here comes more hotness. ( AS SOON AS PHOTOBUCKET GETS ITS ACT TOGETHER)
There was so much dust and so many metal shavings on the case when I got done, I decided to wash it completely off along with the table I am using since the table will double as a painting table tomorrow. I am redoing the inside of the case. This time, it won't be any fancy dancy paint, probably just some Rust Oleum Universal. I am going to sand it down and rewash it here in a little bit.

Edit - I just went ahead and uploaded the non-resized originals for now. I will do a proper upload later.

It came out much better than I could have hoped for. Today, I plan on painting the inside and the mesh then reassembling everything tonight. I need to find my staple gun for an idea I have. I'm only having some trouble deciding what color to redo the inside with. It will not be the bronze I used before. That was not durable at all.

If the bronze was not durable, you should have put some clear coat over it. It will put a protective layer over the paint. Some paints just aren't meant for alot of wear and tear,lol.


And file those cuts before you paint too! I know I have some uneven cuts on the side panel for Phoenix and everytime I look at the panel I see them, bothers the crap out of me I didn't file them.
