The thing is, there isnt room on my desk for a tower and I hate floor dwellers. I always kick them. So this is plan B.
Here's where it's going to sit:


It will be up on the shelf on the left side. Logic tells you that I should put it inside the cabinet, but then, none of the cables from anything else will fit, so it's going on the shelf behind the lamp where the gray subwoofer is. If it will fit, it will go on the desk surface below the xub. Going to be close.

that chair used to be dark green.
I stopped by autozone on my way home from losing my ass at the casino and grabbed some black primer, some Duplicolor bronze wheel paint and a tack cloth.
Bet you can't guess what I'm doing tomorrow.

This will be my first SFF case - even though really its not that small of a form factor. I wish I knew if the contents of my rig would physically fit into the case without tearing everything apart only to have it not fit.

I have to run to the store tomorrow to get some masking tape and clearcoat for the wheel paint.
After a random Google images search, this is roughly the color the inside will be.

I have my fingers crossed. I found some blue painters tape laying around last night so I taped off the whole thing except for the interior and stripped the chassis bare. All I need to do now is put some screws in the motherboard standoffs so paint doesn't get in the threads and it maintains proper grounding. I will post pics in a few minutes. I haven't decided if I should do a monochrome bronze or mix it up with black. I thought about doing the HDD cage, optical cage, and PCI slot covers in black and doing the rest in bronze to break up the color scheme a bit. If I do this, I won't be painting the cages and slot covers per se - i'll be cheating and leaving it black primer - which nobody is going to see anyway.

Yea I think the black/bronze scheme would look better than all bronze inside. Spray away!
