Surely you did not think I had not seen your acrylic guide(and CD's acrylic guide). I would have been a fool to start an acrylic case without reading those!

alrighty. made necessary changes to my illustrator files.. next is to find nicely priced 1/2" black acrylic or i'll be using 1/4".

1/2" may be overkill, and will only be necessary when the case design requires it for structural stability (Halcyon)... it also costs an "arm and a leg".

For standard "box"-shaped designs, 1/4" ought to be sufficient.

Yeah, you definitely don't need 1/2" acrylic. The reason I added all that support was because I thought you were dead-set on using 1/4" acrylic. 1/2" would only be necessary if you wanted the entire mobo tray to be unsupported except at the long ends like your original design.

kind of a sad update... i will not be doing a new techstation anymore and this techstation will be taken apart later this year. i'll be moving all it's parts into serenity. as i hope to finish that by next year.
