I heard quite well about them, and I knew they made NB coolers (in the atoms case CPU cooler lol). That's why I went straight to Enzotech's site to get some info, and oredered them from a local store

I will post photos of them as soon they arrive, and placed on the motherboard

Hey guys! Remember my last update? Posting was fast...


Two packages! Time to open them


The Belkin USB Gigabit adapter arrived, along with my Enzotech NB heatsinks.

Let's take a closer look at the goodies


The Gigabit USB card in detail. It's rather small. I hope it'll fix my slow transfer rates over 100Mbit. (Damn you intel /rant)


The future NB cooler for NineBreaker, it's quite heavy, single piece forged copper ftw


Simply... Brilliant!

I ran into a problem... But what's life without problems to be surpassed?

I installed the first heatsink on the CPU, went nicely and it fit like a glove (almost, it would if the mobo had pushpin sockets)

On my way to install on the northbridge, as soon I take the stock one out and look at the hook first thing that comes to my mind... "oh..." (the rest you know).

CPU heatsink in place and held down, and NB cooler supposedly would be fitting there and held down...


It's probably not noticable, but the hook is too fat to fit between the fins. I have an idea though, which is to make it thinner, downside to that, is that it may get fragile. What do you guys think?

Find a way to put the heatsink by other means (which?) or make the metal hook thinner?
