At 16C room temp:
IDLE:

I think I won the day.

After some scavenger hunt around old dead mobos here at work I found something that will save my mod. This is what I found:



Recognize this? Sorry about the blurryness it was taken with my Nokia 5300, and since it lacks macro option...

It's a nice retention bracket for the NB, it's definately thinner than the stock one, and it seems that the rings that hold the hook in place are kinda "standard" position, so I hope this'll fit. I'll post some news when I get home.
