omgninja Gonna take the opportunity to slap in a small update. Last week I got a couple of things for my server, a slim IDE to SATA converter board, two SATA -> E-SATA cables and an E-SATA bracket. So, right now I have both of my WD Greens plugged into both E-SATA ports and inside my AcRyan external case which is where they get the power from. But it has been a really rough week. ALOT of confusion with my mobo and the RAID and the DVD-RW drive and Microsoft fails. To put it simple what messed my week... -Microsoft simply failed to support RAID onto Windows Home server. -My IDE slot in DVD-RW fails to be detected on windows setup and inside windows when I have the BIOS HDD settings set to AHCI or RAID. -Reinstalled WHS about 5 times -Installed Windows 7 one time -(Lose sanity) -??????? -Profit! (lol  )Seriously now. Currently I have WHS up and running smoothly. Since I cannot set up hardware RAID, might as well go for software... Currently synching HDDs and updating windows. (Running at 2GHz woot!, I couldn't allow myself on OCN still having one rig not oced )

Question: It will void the warranty, but how hard would it be to split the heat sink? Can you get a spare one online and split that one? Then you can have the NB and the CPU at different heights.
