Not yet, I've been waiting for a less hot weather around here to paint the case, looks like this weekend might be a good start.

Case wise, there's not much more to do:

- Drill exhaust fan hole on the plastic shell (going to be hard to do)
- paint outter shell
- Round up the epoxy-fixed holes in the metal frame
- sand it all (I think for this it's easier with one of those "scotch brite" green pads)
- paint metal frame

Electric part will be easy

-solder power button
-solder power leds
-solder HDD activity leds

WOW, excellent mod so far. Lots of work into it, tons of pictures, plethera of updates, and yet no finished product?

Well done so far, can't wait to see it finished. I went through all 52 pages of posts reading all the updates, didn't expect this to still be a work in progress. You just gotta have a life... c'mehn!

Oh noes a gun!

I know I promised updates soon, but I've been with my hands filled with stuff to do, I've been taking a VMWare course, studying, learning Japanese, and for a change, I've been a tourist in my own home city last weekend and as you could see I didn't even have the opportunity to log onto OCN for quite some time.

Thanks for the support guys I'll do my best to continue on this project asap!

Dragoon,
First of all, I am incredibly impressed by what you are doing. So much detail involved in your project, it looks amazing.
Last night, my roommate and I decided to build an "Xbox 360 PC"
After looking all over the internet, I couldn't find anything, until I searched xbox 360 mini itx on google, and this popped up.
Your design is pretty much identical to what I planned on doing.
Although, I do not plan on modding my case in any way, I am going to leave it stock, so that it looks like a xbox 360 until you turn it on.
Also, once the computer is up and running, I plan to install software that will allow me to run the messenger pad as a keyboard, and the controller as my mouse.
I look forward to your updates.

roaddogg: You will need to mod the xbox case to fit the motherboard in and mount stuff etc. Also need to mod it for the rear panel.

What software are you talking about for using xbox controller as a mouse?
