I understand that I am going to have to mod the case and back panel.
I was planning on using the metal frame that held the original xbox motherboard, but modded so that the min-itx mobo can fit it.
The program I am talking about is called chat-padder. Here is a video for it.

oliverw92: I have had success using Joy2Jey as a mouse with various controllers. My sister cannot play FPS games with a keyboard and mouse, so I used Joy2Key to make her Logitech dualshock clone function as a mouse and keyboard; it worked good. (If you like playing games like that with a controller.)

First of all, I am incredibly impressed by what you are doing. So much detail involved in your project, it looks amazing.
Last night, my roommate and I decided to build an "Xbox 360 PC"
After looking all over the internet, I couldn't find anything, until I searched xbox 360 mini itx on google, and this popped up.
Your design is pretty much identical to what I planned on doing.
Although, I do not plan on modding my case in any way, I am going to leave it stock, so that it looks like a xbox 360 until you turn it on.
Also, once the computer is up and running, I plan to install software that will allow me to run the messenger pad as a keyboard, and the controller as my mouse.
I look forward to your updates.
Thanks mate

What software are you talking about for using xbox controller as a mouse?
I second, it's mandatory that you mod the rear fan grills to fit the motherboard and to mod the metal frame to hold it to the case.

Awww man... sorry guys! I know I promised updates 3 weeks ago, and I know I've been dragging this out for quite a long time...

My dad last week had to get "under the knife" due to a hernia on his belly so I had to take care of him (all fine now )

And this weekend I had a small trip to Seville, Spain

Although due to this I had some time to think on a few things, I was thinking in drilling a fan hole on the plastic shell for the exhaust fan. I am thinking that since there is a considerable space between the metal frame and the plastic shell, drilling it would be pointless and it would look (imho) quite better looking and discrete.

I appreciate you guys "scolding" (Go4life xD) me, that will get me on the line

/oot wth? Christian!? You downgraded your system!? Saving up for car ehh? Good choice!
