P.S. "Acrylic dust"... You are wearing a mask of some type? Sorry... not trying to nag or anything, but one really does not want to get that crap in the 'ol breathing-apparatus.

Next weekend I'll probably have the motherboard tray ready. The hardest part on it will probably do those big holes where the DVD drive support will be. But I'll ask my dad to do them as he is alot more experienced in doing that kind of thing than me, I can't afford to break that acrylic sheet

Well..... Not really, after 5 hours cutting and fileing the acrylic I had bits of it all over me. Maybe I should do get one...

Thanks for the info Syrillian , I'll try to get a mask next by the next weekend, or something that does stop the dust from going in the "air tubes" lol

Cheers

At the very least get one of those 'paper' filters. It will keep the nasty bits from getting into your mouth. And get some glasses if you don't have any! A decent set of safety glasses is only a few dollars, you definitely don't want anything puncturing your eye!

Well, you can get the molten bits of acrylic in there, then they burn into your eye

I've gotten a spec of rust in my eye years ago, rust will actually grow/sink into your eye if not removed by an optometrist. It's not a fun procedure, let me tell you, lol.

$5 safety glasses > trip to the eye doctor for rust lol

Gotta love its glow from the UV CCFLs. I still got a long way to go before that bit is completed though
