Hey everyone, it's finally time for me to start on my own project for my home server, NineBreaker.

Hope you guys enjoy my work, and I appreciate any help/coments as this is my very first mod

EDIT: By the way,

for ocZcc! He was the one that inspired me to create this mod with his fantastic case Modularis Evolution and has been giving me all the help I needed to start this project.

I think I'm not missing anything.

Okay I'm putting together the first two days I worked on this. So here goes

:

(Last weekend) Day 1 - The Arrival

As shown above I took this photo the moment I took the system out of the package

Time to see what I find in it (as if I didn't know before :P)

The dead xbox 360 motherboard out of the case, it was fairly easy to open it

One of the most usual failiures of this console...

My initial idea was to use its own DVD Drive and mod its flash ROM to be able to use on a computer, but I found out that the RAM memory is too tall to fit under the drive, so I went to plan B:

Use its frame to house a notebook slim DVD-RW drive!

And now onto...

Day Two - It all begins today:
Today I went down to the garage and start working on the DVD drive frame to be able to house the Laptop drive, as it is a few mm short in width to fit in the smaller drive.

So I began to file down the inner sides to remove any supports from the tray.

After two hours of fileing and cleaning out the result is this:

I removed the vinyl that was attached to the console as I have other plans for it
