After my PlexiTechStation build, I saw how bad my micro-atx gaming rig looked. So, I bought a Ultra MicroFly case off of a OCN member (thank you JEK3) and a 240mm radiator. I had an extra pump left over from my other watercooled computer (this pump).
With a 240mm radiator, it had to be external. So, here it goes. My idea was to make two square brackets to hold the radiator above the case. I didn't like to use a reservoir, I want to use a fill port. 1/2" hose too... Stage 1: Trip to Sear's Hardware:
Some parts: Bending: Bolted on: Second bracket made: Now you see what I am doing here: For the fill port, I drilled the hole in the metal behind the plastic front panel: Some hose run (you can see the fill port will be hidden): A hole in the back of the case for the hoses: Well, that was stage one! Next will be the hard drive tray (needs a little trimming), break down the exisiting B-17 for everything, a bit of buffing, etc. Stay tuned for more! Stage 3 - Final Product

Stage 2:
Final hose routing and leak testing! There are a bit of bends but... From the radiator the hose comes in the back of the case makes a little loop and into the cpu block. Another angle: With the power supply in: Drum roll please! Leak testing: The fillport on the front of the case might hide it but it made it quite difficult to fill. The coolant that I mixed I thought was red but it was pink... Not my favorite but I guess change is always good (all of my other machines use green). The one bolt that holds the pump down interfered with the one foot so the foot was... adjusted. The panels to go on (with a bit of effort). Pics on that tomorrow with final assembly. Lets hope that it boots!

Stage 3: Finished Product![]() The side panels needed... a bit of adjustment to get them on but here it is. 24 hour leak test, the foam in the lines went away. I really need to get a modular psu for this because it is a wiring nightmare but hey, one thing at a time. It booted right away (no issues - I was shocked). The cpu cores were idling at 10c but my room was extremely cold. Please tell me what you think! Pics!
