Thanks. Yeah the green is something else...The pics give it more of a glow than it really has. It's bold in person, but not that much. Plus it's not as bright as blue, which I like.

OCN flame, perfect. Any ideas who to pm about one?

damn that looks nice. looks like a WMD. call it 300lb. WMD or something lol.
Use the C channel for the holes inside too, it will look nicer. Also I recommend painting the inside of the case(that is what I am doing with my 300).
What size hole saws did you use?

Yeah, this weekend I'm planning on running the c-strip on anywhere that needs it. The holesaws I used was 2-inch for next to the PSU and 1.5-inch for the other two. I would've gone smaller for the 4-pin, but it was all I had.

I would like to paint the inside, but I had too much trouble with the side panel. I live in a small apartment, so the only place I have to paint is an even smaller porch. I'm not sure if it was just my luck, but as I was painting the side panel all kinds of dust/dirt/hairs wanted to settle on it. As soon as I can figure out a way to paint it a little bit easier I'll jump on it. If I only had a garage or a shop...

Thanks, the cable management is what got me started on the modding.

Ok, I did a little bit more stuff. Finally got all of the c-strip finished up and added a couple of fans in the drive bays.

70mm fans zip-tied in the 2 open drive bays. I had one 80mm Sunon, but it was just a tad too loud without a fan controller. Two 80's wouldn't fit, so I grabbed two 70's and they fit perfect. Right about 35 cfm each and I can't hear them over anything else, they just blend right in.

Back obviously. Just showing the c-strip and cables.

My final round of cable management. I took out a hard-drive, haven't been using it.

Side panel with c-strip.

Overall, I think I'm pretty much done with this until I paint. That may be as early as next weekend. I'm heading down to my parents next Saturday so I might be able to paint down there.

What does everyone think of a white 300 (inside and out)? I've been thinking it might be pretty cool.

i think a white inside and out would look good, but even better would be 2tone white/black
anyways, i must thank you for the using of 2 70mm fans, i never thought of using 2 70mms for a drivebay i've only ever done the 120 over 3 slots or the 1 80 over 2 slots
2 70s is more attractive
lol anyways
keep going!

Two-tone...hmm. Interesting. I'll think on that for awhile and see what I can come up with. Yes, 70mm ftw with 2 drive bays. Now my ram gets a little bit more active cooling. I'm going to try and oc it a bit more.

Ok, I came up with a couple ideas for black and white 2-tone. I'm no artist, so I can't really get too fancy, something simple. What do you all think? Any suggestions?

Pic #1: The back side panel would be black, basically half black/half white but diagonally.

Pic #2: The back side panel would be the same pattern as the front. The back of the case would also be white.

So to go along with the pics, I'm thinking a flat white interior instead of black. I'm just going for something a little different...

Oh yeah, I got mad Paint skillz...
