Here we go again! Here is my new build log after the last one "Sesshin" got a little to difficult for my skill level, and couldn't accommodate the higher performance parts I wanted to get.
I have finished the much simpler design, and checked it over many times to make sure everything would fit correctly and securely. This design is similar to the Sesshin design except that it is much more open, contains no tight curves, and it has a huge freaking radiator .. I designed it so that all the cuts are simple, as I am not yet experienced enough to make some of the more advanced curves. I already have 90% of the acrylic here, and all of the computer and water cooling components are on there way. Please feel free to post any suggestions or comments .~Updates~ Update #1 - 11/10/08 - Designs. Update #2 - 11/12/08 - Some Parts Have Arrived! Update #3 - 11/13/08 - More Parts! (cpu and hd's... I bet you cant guess what stepping I got). Update #4 - 11/13/08 - Even More Parts! (Radiator, NB Block, & Misc Parts). Update #5 - 11/13/18 - Lapped and cleaned the Northbridge! Update #6 - 11/14/08 - More parts! (4870, Acrylic, Fan Controllers, Glue, & Kill-A-Watt). Update #7 - 11/16/08 - Rounding and gluing. Update #8 - 11/19/08 - Tons of stuff done! Here are the designs.
Much simpler than the other case, but It should definitely stay cooler. If you were wondering about how I plan to get the Radiator and 8 120mm Fans out of the box, I designed a way that will allow all of the parts to slide into the box with only the top having to be taken off. ![]()

Nice design.
My only concern here is the acrylic in the radiator box should be strong enough to hold it when you fill it up and add the fans to it. One small problem and its gonna fall onto your motherboard.

Acrlic ![]() It is definitely strong enough (the over hanging part is only two fan controller which are very light)... I am unsure about how tipable it would be though, I just thought of a solution though to get rid of any tipping problems it may or may not have... I will post a picture of my solution soon and see what you guys think.
