If you are willing to flip the bill for a lower end I7 cpu and mid range board and ddr3 memory sure ill jack up the volts. Then again the vid on this chip is 1.325V and at its peek it had 1.61Vcore for winter months.

Well with a house (town home really) and bills of one coming right around the corner (going to closing between January 6-16 date is yet to be set) and my job will be having a few rolling shut downs where i will be off for 1 week intervals about 5 weeks or more in '09. Dont and wont have money to really throw around for a 150-250 cpu when this one is fine and what benfit will i see with a 300mhz increase with a .25Vcore increase currently @ 1.45v with out vdroop control.

EDIT: As i remember with the 65nm out recommended was 1.5v on air 1.55 on water and i felt i was pushing it with 1.61 a while ago which after a while i would say finally broke the semi stable 3.6ghz mark i had and now when i tryed at 3.65 ghz last locked up BSOD during a super pi 8m pi think 1.6-1.65v with vdroop control on.

This is one of the tidiest water-cooling jobs I've seen. The copper (or brass?) fittings are great, they look real good and keep it neat.
