Those spot-cooling fans are not the final solution. I've got waterblocks on the way for the NB/SB and Mosfets and I'm probably going to put a Corsair Dominator fan on the RAM. Then I'll get the white CCFLs and install them properly and sleeve up the cables nicely. Thanks for the comments

A small update. I received my first GTX 285 today (the one from stepup) and I should get the second by Monday or Tuesday!
So I can get the rig back up and running! I still need to wait for some FC waterblocks to become available at stores as they sold out quick. Koolance, DangerDen or EK are all options. Hopefully they will get them back in stock soon! Also, I think my Heatkiller CPU block should be here within the next week or two, so I can update the CPU loop. ![]() I'm also going to install the Bitspower mobo blocks and add the third pump. I should be getting a MIPS RAM Freezer 5 within the next little while to complete the overkill  (although my RAM does get hot since airflow over the ram isn't great).

Don't know why you would bother WC'n the chipset blocks.. they don't run "THAT" hot on x58.
Besides that all of the work for that OC on the i7 is being handled in the cpu/qpi .. so the effects of more cooling on your nb/sb isn't really going to do anything. Your money though

Good work man. I don't have any experience with WCing, but I can tell it's setup good just by looking at it. I need to step up in the game, lol.

As I said, I don't get great airflow in my case because all the openings are full of radiator. Thanks for your input, though

I've torn the rig apart again
![]() I actually have three GTX 285s with three Koolance blocks, but one of the 285s is folding in the backup rig until I rebuild since there's not enough room for it in this one. I find that the i7 is too much of a heat monster for this case, so I'm going to grab the MM Horizon and some triple rads to hopefully get better temps. Watch for Good Things in a Big Package (that probably won't be the name, but I'll think of something when the time comes). Also, I overtightened the barbs on my custom reservoir and it cracked , so I no longer have a custom CD reservoir...
