Talking [Project] Shrouded Wrath (I have lots of questions)

This is my 1st case mod and I'm very inexperienced with this and I've got a lot of questions. I'm modding my new antec 900. I'm planning to use cyberdruid's cable management kit to make the case neater, paint the interior black, and paint the exterior either dark blue, dark red, dark blue metallic, or dark red metallic. I also want to use synthetic ice spray on the window to mimic ice crystals and put some blue or white cold cathodes (probably 2-4 12" tubes) around the window. I have already disassembled the case and removed all components. All tips are helpful and greatly appreciated. Most of the screws are labeled, but I need some help determining what some are for.

Questions
1. What color is best? I've got the 2 stock blue led lights in the case already and I'm hoping to do the frozen window mod. Would red paint look weird if I had those color leds in the case? What about having either red or blue cathodes? White for the ice?
2. What kind of paint should I buy? Brand? Where should I buy paint, both for metallic and matte?
3. Help me determine what these screws are for.

This isn't the mobo attachment screw.

The power and reset switches

As you can see, the plastic square tabs holding the switches and the light can be removed with some kind of screwdriver or wedge.

You should be an interior designer or something. Very nicely laid out.

1. Where should I buy paint, both for metallic and matte?

Local hardware store

2. How should I paint (ie. how to stuff)

Spray. What do you mean by 'how to stuff'?

3. Where should I buy hole cutters for cable management? (I am hoping to buy some off craigslist but I have not received a reply from a seller and it's been 4 days. )

Dremel is ideal, but for cheap there's Craigslist or eBay

4. Where should I buy cold cathode tubes?

Newegg

5. Should I remove the power and reset switches before painting? (I know it sounds dumb) Can I hotglue them back down after painting? Pics about this are on the post.

Nah leave them there. Paint all over them if you wish.

6. Help me determine what these screws are for.

No idea lol. Don't use them.

When I said hole cutter, I meant hole saw. I don't think I should leave the screws out. Could it hurt the electrical wires to paint over the switches? Thanks.

Na It wont hurt the wires, but you should be able to remove the switches. Everycase I have painted had removable switches, just took a while to get them out.

There are many guides to painting a case. Get it powdercoated I say.
If I was spray painting it I would just sand the parts of the case down, going through the grits of sandpaper, clean it up. Then prime the bastard, next paint it the colour of your choice. Its to much trouble in my opinion, because if you want a nice looking paintjob, it may cost you like 75 - 100 bucks for everything. When powdercoating turns out better and is more durable, and costs 75bucks.

I think this looks like a good color as far as metallic dark red goes:

For metallic dark blue I would say this:

Lol at the car, but the paint is cool.

Well with powdercoating you have to take the disassembled case to a powder coating proffesional. Look them up online to find some in your area. But If you want to spray paint it yourself then I suggest automotive paint. Bill Owen (Pro Case modder) often uses automotive paint which is used also used on cars, like the ones you just posted.

Automotive paint is more durable etc... as it has to withstand use on cars. You normally have to buy an air compressor and a paint gun to use automotive paint, BUT there are some places that sell it in a CAN!

Were to get all of this you ask? Wouldn't have a clue. Im from Australia, so I wouldnt know were you could get it from. A local paint supplier maybe, not online though, I dont think they are allowed to sell it online.

Im sure you can locate one. What you will need to do is look up an online tutorial on how to spray paint a PC case. Im not saying you have to use automotive paint, but I think it would (if you could get some) be a better idea. As the results for me have been better than cheap normal canned paint.

Hope this helps. ++REP for attempting to mod something! Aborted.
