I'm happy with the sleeving, but it still needs some taming. I disassembled the rig today so I could do a little modding to the factory tray.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I expanded the ventilation holes behind the processor for easier access, and added the cable management holes along the right side. I was careful to match the radius of the original stampings for the additional cuts. The Lian Li is such a refined piece of work, that I'm forcing myself to really take my time on this one. I want to preserve as much of the original cases character as possible. I'll post some more pics later after I put it back together if I can beat the sunset here. I'm rapidly learning just how much flash photography is for the lose.

Why thank you gentlemen.
![]() I got it put back together in time to snap a few pics, but I'm definitely not home free just yet. . . Here's the wide shot: ![]() 24 pin is getting there: ![]() as is the 8 pin: ![]() but this area here, not so much: ![]() At first, I thought I was going to need to tear it apart again and cut a new hole. After looking at for a bit though, I think I'm going to re-locate the PSU to the top of the case instead. That should relieve the bulk of the clutter that I'm fighting down there.

very nice!
I like the PSU at the bottom. I guess it will work better up top though. So that case came with the ability to mount in both areas?

very clean as always war. you did one heck of a job sleeving that sucker.
![]() i would agree that if you move your psu, alot of the cables would just disappear.

![]() I was seriously starting to wish I would have doubled up some of the wires there for a while ala Valkyrie. The individual sleeving really makes the cables a bear to wrestle into place sometimes. I do like the look though, once you get them sorted.

i totally agree with you. ![]() EDIT: after looking at it again.. the only thing that i can think of to clean up the wires w/o moving it to the top is to cut a hole where the cables are and try routing them through the back. the problem with that is that i'm not sure how much space you have behind there. you might not be able to close it perfectly if that was done.
