So, I got a TON of work done on the case this weekend. In no particular order:

The paint on the chassis is done (side panels still need some work) so i got to work.

DD fillport installed:

Next I got to work putting some c chennel on all my cuts. This hole is where the line from the pump to the rad will route.

Here's the c channel installed on all the wire management holes:

Although I should have done this before i painted the case, here i a m drilling the mounting holes for the pump. I'll be using a block of petra's gel stuff.

Painting the front panel:

Getting the rad mounted was a pain in the butt. But, eventually i got all the screws started. Here's a view of the top:

Last night, I got to work installing the rest of the watercooling setup. I would have gotten mroe done but I was busy watching the stillers trounce the cards.

Here are some pics of the loop as it sits right now:

Gonna fab up a bracket to move the reservoir inboard an inch or so.... here it is rigged up temporarily.

That's it for now.

Good job on painting. What kind of paint did you use?

Also those white tubes look awesome with the black paint. Are you going to make a T-line from the res and fillport?

Thanks

Paint is just a 99 cent rattlecan from home depot....well, about 4 99 cent rattlecans. Lots and lots of thin coats. I don't think I have any use for a t-line.... fillport goes into the reservoir, then loop will run res->pump->rad->cpu->res. I don't have the tubing to and from the cpu block on yet as I want to get the mobo in there so I can cut the tubing the right length.

haha what area of pittsburgh you from, man? I'm in lawrenceville, myself. Crazy last night.

P.S. the tubing itself is actually danger den white 3/8". I stretched it over 1/2" fittings (the pump was a royal PITA!) so I'm not too worried about not using clamps. I bought some feser black dye but i'm not sure if i'm even going to use it. I'm not planning on UV lighting, so i'm sort of meh about the idea of dye.

thanks for the offer, but the case already has a window that's larger than 12"....I think i will either 1) tint the stock window, or 2) cut a HUGE window in the side and order a big piece of plexi from someplace. Out of curiousity, what do you mean by white plexi? Is it opaque?
