Default [Project]Nemesis Revival ATi [Updated 1/07/09]

Nemesis Revival ATi
This is a continuation of my previous worklog that never actually got finished. Nor did it actually have much modding involved. It also skipped around alot with hardware because it was so spread apart and had pretty bad pictures.

So - for neatness sake and to showcase that I can actually keep a camera still now - I'll start a new one.

Step 1.Water cooling loop redone

Next up - FINALLY cutting my panels after like a year of not having back or side panels. I will do it.

Also in store - A TON OF LEDs! I ordered like 400 LEDs last year in anticipation of me actually finishing this mod. I will finish it. I must.

Just got the WC block on my 4870x2.

Here is my new reservoir.
The Swiftech Micro-Res wouldn't work out for me in the end. It looked weird and it wouldn't fit with the side panels on.

So I went for the XSPC Pump top.

It hopped onto the pump. Its very sexy.

Time to crack open my 4870x2 for like the third time in the past week lol.

This is the XSPC Razor top.
I love XSPC. Its small, I was taken by surprise.

On the card baby.

Closeups

Everything in and ready for testing.
My rig needs better cable management. But I'm very limited at the moment so please don't mind.
The rig will never be finished at this rate XD

I have a confession. This is like the first time I've ever really leaked tested. Why this time? Because I've never done a top like the 4870x2The barbs are kind of different too. They are much nicer IMO then the Dtek Hi-Flow.

Finished testing, and as always - no leaks baby. Yeah, I'm good.

Temps are oddly better then ever. I redid my coolant so that must have been it.
Those CPU temps were the same as before doing this surprisingly.

All done while listening to possibly the best video game OST - FFVII:Crisis Core - on my Zune connected to my speakers.

Some more general pics

Very nice all round. . What would look really nice is if you encased those few cabels that are visible with some split tubing

I was thinking of something like that or have a metal plate cut so I could place it infront of the cables so it would look as if there was no gap back there
