Thank you man, really. And lol, now that you say why you want it horizontal I can understand that, matching the front drives. That makes sense now,lol. Me and my GF have opposing OCDs (her's is asymmetrical, mine is symmetrical) and we're always picking about it, so I feel your side of things

Like I said, I was bored that night,LOL! The marker thing is a really great trick for lapping

I kind of wish that the AC Ryan would have worked, it really did look great. It just wasn't the right shade of orange I wanted, these Xiggy's really did the job better

I meant to ask earlier (but was braindead from modding induced lack of sleep)... what did you use to seal the LEDs' holes when you were painting the first fans? Is that silly putty or something like that?

No it's not putty, just run of the mill 2" wide masking tape. I put a strip of tape over the inside of the fan, then used a razor blade to cut around the divot where the LED was. Then just used my fingernail to make sure the tape was pushed down around the LED.
