Note: This is a joke.
Hey guys whatsup?
Im just finishing up a build I made from parts I just got a bit ago.
I need some help from you here at overclocknet.com and I hope you help me because im not sure what to do
this is my first time building a computer I mostly play consoles lik xbox 360 . playstation 2 3 and some PSP.
I went to my dads friends house near where I live a few days ago and he had a pimp computer he was playing a game called crisis and it even had better gfx then my 360! it was sweet!
So I decided to build a computer. I can rebuild a car engine from scratch so this should be simple by comparison.
I went online and did a Microsoft live search for computer parts and I found a few guys on ebay selling stuff cheap.
It cost about $2300 dollars to get it all but I know this is the best stuff you can get because it was the most expensive
here is a collection of the parts I got
I got 2 ram bars, a gfx card, cooling stuff, wires, batteries, and a TI-30XA CPU â€" I had to wait 2 weeks to have some of it shipped internashionally from nigeria
my brother said the motherboard is the most important part of a computer, so I got 2 of them for more powerful graphics power. Also in this pic you can see my ram. There is 2 of them.
There are the tools I use.
This is the cooling stuff to make everything colder and faster
on the left you see my processor,. Middle is the graphics card right is the batteries for powering.
This is the HIGH QUALITY xt modem cable, I will hook it later to my cable modem for internet and youtube. Also you see the red cable, black cable and grey cable.
This is my first try at putting in RAMS, it looked like they would fit, but they didn't fit.
The good thing about having 2 motherboards is if something doesn't fit in one, it will probably fit in the other. Here you can see me put in the RAM to the blue part. Blue is my favorite colour.
Putting motherboards together so they work together was really easy. The blue end goes in the blue slot and the black end goes in the black slot.
As you can see, everything is properly connected, and I even have the ability to add a 3rd motherboard later, if I need more power.
This also was easy. I only paid $600 for this because it is not a 12mb card, but a 8mb card, I don't really need more MB I think because of all my motherboards.
Now to get the CPU out. I used tools for eyeglass repair. This took a lot of skill. I am really proud of myself and my skill.
The instructions were hard to understand. I hate math. But I think I did the proper job and took it out.
the black circle is the CPU core. I benchmarked it before I took it apart. It could do almost 100 calculations per minute, I think it could have done more if I could press the buttons faster.
Here I am installing it onto one of my motherboards,
Since this is going to be a hot computer I needed to add cooling.
The fan I bought connects to a USB port, same thing as my Zune.
There looked like only one way to put this in . I saw where it said USB on the motherboard. Then I plugged the wires in.
I connected the USB, and then I connected the graphics cooler to it.
Job Done!
I thought for crisis I might need more power for graphics. Luckily my 2nd motherboard had this graphics card built into it. It has a single video card and a dual video card. Since there are 3 graphics cards on this it will need many cooling.
This 4 and a bit inch fan I bought from the computer store guy, he said it will help cool a graphics card.
I looked at the cpu heat sincs at the store too, but the cheapest I could find was 15 bucks and it was basically just aluminumium. So I decided to save my money and make a custom HS myself. It was easy.
I used this cooling gum to make sure the heat went out of my CPU cooly. It also helped the heat sinc stick to the CPU.
Here you can see my power supplies. These batteries powered my remote control car. I hope this computer is as fast as my car was.
