Case Modder
![]() |
Many peolpe have seen my octoganal wooden case and I appreceate the kind words. That one is good, for my first mod but I want something that will integrate into my custom office a bit better. So...I am going to build a case that will fit under my wall cabinets but still have enough verticle to fancy it up a bit.
Here is a sketchup that I did using the google tool (****, I just found that thing and it is awesome, now I know where so many of the sketchups here were made) I have included the clockwork that will be behind the window on top. I plan on mounting a small electric motor to run the gears (12v rail will feed it). All gauges will be working for temp(water), temp (ambient), voltage, harddrive indicator, fan speed, etc. The switches will control on/off, reset, and the 8 fans I plan on using (including the 4 on my rad's) The front is still under creative consultation (in my head). I like the gothic window idea but something better might come up. I am making the entire front removable for access so I can replace it with a different front whenever I wish to. All suggestions are welcome and appreceated. And no...I am not switching to 480 rads...I like my BlackIce Micro II's they do the job very well indeed for me. ![]() First, the office. Note where my case is now, this is the spot the new one will go. ![]() Well the project is almost finished and I thought I would repost the pictures at the beginning so people would not need to swim through 22+ pages, here they are: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pictured with my steampunked keyboard (see the last pages for details) ![]() added a triple monitor setup.

Oh,
__________________You have no idea how long I have been searching for who made your wooden case, I saw it a while ago when I first joined and loved it and has inspired me to create one, but trust me to loose its name and who made and I couldn't find it! I tried searching everything lol. Well definitly looking forward to seeing what you'll do with this one ![]() -Ash Edit: Could you give me a link to your original thread, with the octagonal wooden case? I would really apreciate it. Cheers.

I would, but I am tight on cash at the moment, and also my system is aircooled, so I would need a few fans or to convert to watercooling
__________________![]() Out of curiosity how much would you be asking for it? another quick question, I am hopeuflly going to start work on a build when I get some money, and I was hoping to make it out of wood originally, but I am thinking of going for a complete acryilic build now, and was wandering if there is a way to inset the acrylic see through panel into the black acrylic panel? so that it feels like a flat surface? cheers -Ash

Just get the HD555's.

Are those Mechwarrior Clix? That game was really fun up to CounterAssault; after that, the game play kind of went downhill in my opinion.
