Oh, good point. Thanks dude - I think most likely I'll have him do the window depending on whether or not he can return the spare metal.

In my own mod I am using some AC Ryan MeshxPanel to fabricate a mesh insert in the horizontal divider in my Lian Li V1200. And AC Ryan also offers regular 2mm brushed aluminum panels, which might come in handy for your project. Using scrap material from the sidepanel will obviously lead to the best results, but considering the fact that you plan to paint the case you could also use a panel with a slightly different color and brush stroke.
US resellers carrying AC Ryan include ArcticMOD.com, Performance-PCs.com and FrozenCPU.com. The latter is located in the state of New York, which might reduce shipping costs. Here's a link for the product I am referring to: http://www.frozencpu.com/search.html...&go.x=0&go.y=0

My side panel is nice 2mm metal, and one of those sheets is over $30 so that's money well saved for something else.

More pictures. Today I began planning some of the cutting that I'll be doing. I've masked up some areas of the case so I can draw on it:
Here is where the fill port is going to go: ![]() I need to drill these holes out a little bit larger because they don't fit the screws that came with my EK res and can't seem to hold it in place: ![]() Also I'm going to cut out this little grid and mount a solid piece of al in it instead to hold the rocker switch for my lighting: ![]() If anyone noticed the improved picture quality, I got a new camera . It was about time since my old one was dying and could hardly take a picture without the flash on (which ruins computer pictures we all know). Nikon S630 is the model and so far it's been amazing! Also here's a quick sketch of what the side panel will look like after cutting. I made it wide enough to see the res, but not enough to see the drive bays. Also made it tall enough to see as much as possible while still giving me room to hide the wire management for the motherboard and lighting up top.

Ok so I've decided to go with the OCD method of building. Soon enough I'm going to take everything out of my Cosmos for a 100% test fit into the silverstone. Then I'll mark up any cuts I need to make or buy any special fittings etc, take it all apart, paint and cut, then put it all back together...
A little OCD? Yes, but if I'm going for perfection I think this is how to do it. The last thing I want is to have everything all painted and tubed and then realize that my tubing can't reach my pump or something like that.

Ok, today I started taking apart my loop (cosmos) and have run into a couple of issues:
1) The power supply jumper that i bought from jab-tech doesn't seem to jump anything. As soon as I connect it the fan barely moves and then stops. What could be wrong? 2) THe primochill coolant i was using before is NASTY and has left dye residue everywhere. My water block is filthy inside. What can I use to do a nice thorough cleaning of my blocks/pump/parts?
