Looking great, I just wanted to say this: the top of this mod (where the trolley is) seems unfinished to me. The upright parts should have some sort of covering so they're not opened up anymore at the top. Just my thoughts.

@ps nothing like that can be done until after chroming and after the wires are run. I was thinking maybe some square rubber stops or caps. havent looked into it yet tho

I knew I screwed up! when the trolley didnt fit quite right (after the bottom piece was added) I chalked it up to not measuring correctly (even tho I measured 4 times lol). Looking back on the pics I realize now my screw-up. If you look at how the bottom most part is mounted to the down-rail, on the down-rails-front face, it was supposed to be mounted on the down-rail's bottom edge, flush to the back-face of the down rail, not up and in

this is why the clearance, height-wise, is screwed up (having trouble putting trolley on) and why the hook suddenly didnt have enough room to spiral into the hole.



I have to fix this!
