Mike, not doing work on it today

I have to figure out how to cut that off without damaging the down-rail. I have to see if I can put it in the chop saw in that alignment (doubtful) or if I have to grind all the welds and cut the seems with a dremel. heres where hoping the welds didnt penatrate is a good thing
