sorry to obsess, but I am so stoked right now its not even funny
 having the star milled by Samfreese basically takes this mod from many weeks of work remaining, to basically done (work-wise) All I have to do today is score the back of the trolley rail with the |\ marking so I know whats back and up, and then basically build mounts for the star, but that will have to be done once I have the star in my possession. Hey Sam, what do you plan to do with the 1/8" mock up? If you could throw that in so I could hang it up in my shop I would be more than grateful. At some point we must discuss how I can ever repay you

Sure I can throw it in. I've got too many trinkets anyway. I'm probably not going to deburr it(it is REALLY heavily burred, because I used the wrong type of endmill for that job). It'll let you put your hands to it, anyway. I'm in the shop today, but won't be working on any projects. I REALLY need to clean up. The job-shop side(there are a few sides to our shop; job, fabrication, high production and welding) is a disaster.

OOOOOh! i think we need a special new smiley for that star, its going to be sick, gotta say i'm loving the trolley to, happy you went with your own fabrication, it fits in perfect. Am wondering how your planning on mounting that star now, any way to mount it from behind (dont even say it...) so it kind of looks like it floats or something?

That star looks freakin awsome! I think it'll look amazing on the bench
