not sure I follow what you were saying but it gave me an interesting idea either way. Ill think about it for a bit

Volume 3 was decent, but the singles they have chosen for the new album give diehard maggots a bad impression of what the new album is, since this song and the title track are both great. I saw them a few years back with Shadows Fall and Lamb of God... most metal thing of all time.

Oh, and the build looks cool, too. I know you do a lot of cool stuff, so I can't wait for the finished product.
thanks. as for the singles off the new album, which songs are considered "the singles" ? The station I listen to (Octane 20 on Sirius/XM satellite) plays 3 songs off the new album fairly regularly (Psychosocial, Butcher's Hook, dead Memories) all of which I really like, and all of which took turns ending up number one each week over all other songs. I think slipknot has had a song at number 1 for 16 straight weeks, not including Psychosocial which reigned supreme for the last few months of 2008. Just curious which songs youre referring to.
I mean yeah, they are not all as balls out smash your skull speedfests, but the songs are great imho.

then of course they mix in Duality, Nameless, Wait And Bleed, and a few others

Yeah, Slipknot was the best concert I've ever been to, even better than Godsmack I think

All their music is good and i especially like their "first" album... M.F.K.R. (mate feed kill repeat)

actually this Butcher's Hook project almost was project Psychosocial. But the idea I had for that one was too complex at the time (also in steel) so I opted to do this one first, to gain the experience with working with steel, and I will revisit the original design of the other one, but probably not as another slipknot tribute, we'll see. So many ideas, so little time

Really? I think it's pretty good. Not their best by a long shot, but well above average. Anyway, not to threadjack. I don't really know where I'd put the switches on this bad boy. Perhaps in a severed goats head hung from a second hook? Press the nose as power button, right eye is reset and left eye.....well the left eye if just for your poking pleasure.

Why not just put the switches on the plate where the hook hangs from. Clearly visible that way. I tried to post this a while ago, but OCN went down when I tried.
