as far as a name goes, of course i want it to reflect what i am making..
and what i am making is a new step, a new course for my art, i want to push this as a new boundary, get my name out, have someone say something positive about it, create interest.
a few people said i should actually sell my art, a bit high for praise but i still like it lol

names, words, and thoughts:

untrained generation... untrained phenomenon
creation... refined.... adept...
stunner... aberration.... eccentricity....
enriched... innovation... resource/wealth...
expansion...

meh...brain hurts..

obscure (always liked this word)... mystic... dark...
uncertain... unaccountable... close...
boundless...

hmm...maybe im going a bit to far with this...
its just a name...the work will speak for itself if it get it done right...

i am thinking of, Generation or Aberration

dictionary for aberration
1. the act of departing from the right, normal, or usual course.
2. the act of deviating from the ordinary, usual, or normal type.
3. deviation from truth or moral rectitude.

generation..from generate
dictionary says... 1. to bring into existence; cause to be; produce.

EDIT: Final decision made after a good night's sleep im naming this build "Generation"

meh, that doesnt flow well when you say it.

i think that generation is a good one. its a cool word, ends in "tion" and i dont know why but i like words that do that, the base word Generate means "to create" and this is a different generation of art that i am creating, a new surface/canvas if you will.

goodness..this white is VERY bright! especially out in the sunny day i am enjoying today

remember what i said i was doing with the left side panel??
taking a piece of aluminum and foam pad and bolting them over the fan holes?
well here is what it looks like (except that all of it is now black from another coat of paint)

btw...i absolutely love how details of pictures my camera can take with that macro button...

i am working on my stencils...


now i wont have 7 separate stencils of the same image..
i go to thinking that if i cut out all the shapes from one piece of paper, the paper would end up Very weak, and i would get a really fuzzy painting

The solution...is to only cut out 2 or 3 shapes (out of the 23 total) from each sheet, then lay them separately on the panel to paint them.

woohoo!
i had a great time today, i finally finished my stencils this morning and got to painting them.
so far i am quite happy because they have come out better than i thought, lots more to do tho, and i will have a number of touch-ups to do.

this is how you secure a stencil in a very....crude...way, but hey i couldnt think of anything else

close up after first stencil, i knew, and didnt know, what to really expect as a result. but this is basically it, some fuzzy lines and spill, ill be able to touch up those lines with my handy...paint pen thing

Nearly finished product!

i have more to do, a second whole stencil on the same panel (plans have evolved).
I may also paint pen on some extra lines.
Next update should be on monday night (west coast of USA time lol)

this paper i am not as happy with...with the size, kinkos could not use thicker paper as they did with the smaller stencils. anyways, this paper is the regular stuff, and then laminated to give it more strength.
