Sexy mod, too. Subbed.
Rumours are $119 which is a damn good price for a case like this.
Bill, you said the PSU hides components, how is the PSU mounted?

EDIT, I checked myself -

It looks like aftermarket cooling such as the Accelero are out.

Luckily I have the VF900Cu now...

Shame I brought a CM690, I got it for AU$119, $40 or so more and I'd have one of these if I'd waited and known about it.

Re-measure your HSF before discounting it for larger HSFs, the chassis width is 9.6"

After painting the carriage bolt heads matte black, I use scotch weld DP190 2 part epoxy to fasten the heads onto the panel.

Using a ruler to align the carriage bolt heads around the frame of the panel.

The panel will be painted and airbrushed later with weathered & rusty effect

Stellar work as always Bill!

I was curious about the power supply alignment and interference with aftermarket gpu coolers but seeing you measure the width of the case in your video pointed out that this case is unusually wide and thus should be able to accomodate any gpu cooler.

I wonder if it would be better to align a power supply with a bottom fan towards the gpu (pulling hot air away and through the power supply) or outwards through the exterior vent?

Great work so far Bill!
What plans do you have for the PSU area and cable management (with the PSU being in an awkward place)? Or are you going to leave it as is?

I love how your build logs are like a tutorial explaining the methods of your madness. Congrats on breaking the ice for this case, the manufacturer is compensating you well I hope. Many manufacturers don't realize how good for business putting such a case in the hands of a professional modder could be for business. If you say the case is crap who is gonna argue, if you say its the schiz who is gonna argue with that. Us enthusiasts buy those kind of cases and listen to other enthusiasts not manufactures. In any event you could make a crap case look and perform good and I look forward to how this comes out.

That's actually an interesting idea, and I think it actually might work. Maybe Bill could do come testing on the subject, to see if it helps or not.

Yes, thats the way NZXT intended the placement of the PSU, to draw warm air from the GPUs.

Thank you!

I agree ice_owl. btw NZXT isn't paying me. They're were kind enough to give the case free of charge before anyone else could see it. I'm grateful for the opportunity. Nate builds custom pcs locally, http://www.custompcmax.com we are just a couple of computer dudes doing a project together

The panel mods are finished, next stage is painting the real logo in place of the paper template.
