EDIT: Also, I just noticed this, and thought it could be considered. When I went to OCN home page, I looked at the list of "New Posts" and saw 'Scarab' which, I thought, must have been Syr's mod. But, had I been someone that wasn't always in the case mod threat, I wouldn't have known. I remember it used to say '[Project] Scarab' which was great because it always distinguished on the home page that the thread was a case mod thread. So, if these new tags could stay with the thread title when it shows up in the new thread list, it might help people out. Just another suggestion.

Okay, I was able to change my current log, but not one of the older ones (Halcyon).

Odd, I wonder what I did differently?

after a given period of time, when you change the title of the OP it does not update in the thread title; if this is the case, just PM a mod (or editor) and we can get it updated for you.

Can I please get some clarifiaction as to which each one stands for?

Getting ready to post a worklog here and would like to get the correct listing Prefix for my particular mod

I have a worklog currently running on other sites if you would like me to link to it so you can read/evaluate it to help me out choosing which is best I can do that.

First off, welcome to OCN! I'll be happy to give a run down for you

Paint - This is just a repaint of the case. Very little cutting or other modding involved. Could be just an interior paint change, or the exterior.

Scratch - This is a 'from the ground up' build. A techstation, acrylic case, metal framed case/etc. Not a 'out of the box' case.

Finished - Just a finished mod. Let's people know the log is not in progress but is completed.

Case Mod - This is a build with a new case. More than a 'paint mod'. This is probably where most of the builds fall. Windows, fan holes, cable management, whatever you can think of. It just involves a new(er) case and your work.

Case Rebirth - This one is just like a 'Case Mod' but involves an old case. Like an old Gateway PII rig or something similar. It's taking an older, salvation army-type case and rebuilding it.

it would probably be under "Case Rebirth" as the build is involving only the case from an OLD HP Pavilion 4550z getting everything upgraded ... old case all new parts. But it will also involve painting and cutting and all that fun stuff
