Default [Project] Hedonism, Stanford Style

I've been spending quite a bit of time planning this build out as this is my first, from scratch build, and I'd really like for it to turn out well.

Plan: Build a dual loop tech station made entirely from quartersawn white oak in the arts and crafts style for my new folding/main rig.

Inspiration: Major props go to Cyberdruid as his recent work with wood cases has been really inspirational for this build.

Progress: Though slow (I'm a measure 300 times cut twice anyway kind of guy), it will start to move quicker once I can get the hang of using some of the more foreign wood tools.

Pics log:

Here is my material donated to me by my dad, as well as the use of his wood shop. A generous donation at $8 a board foot.

Here is a finished product with this stock.

Rough, proof of concept drawing.

Today I made my first rough cuts to make sure I had left enough room for everything. Here are my successful test fits. Its going to have three tiers as follows...

Thanks for looking, and I assure you, there will be much more to come.

Thanks Syr.
I asked my dad if he had any scraps of trim I could use and then he showed me this massive stack of this stuff and said have at it.
