I've got a Pink WaterPuter to build for my Daughter's birthday and I'll post up the usual confusion of pictures and vids as I go along.

PC Design Laboratories QV2E all aluminum mATX PC Case handcrafted in the USA (fresh off the assembly line raw aluminum)

Some tasty switches for the front panel

A Silver Sony Optiarc DL Burner

A 6 Channel CNCed Aluminum Fan Controller

And an XSPC Bay reservoir will fill the front.

One the side panels I sprung for these incredible rad grills from Kikboxes

Which will look nice in silver over the pink.

Besides the LC Hardware and other eye-candy listed above I have a d-tek FuZion Promount for the CPU and either an Iandh 8800GT Waterblock or an EK for a 9800GX2

I have the choice of QX9650 or X3320 or Q8300 quadcore processors

Zotac 610 mATX is what I have but I could get a different one

Corsair Dominators ditto

Choice of Zotac AMP 8800GT or eVGA 9800GX2

Corsair 610 modular PSU

3 1 TB Samsung F1 HDDs or possibly an 128GB G Skill Titan SSD or a pair of 150 GB V-raps or some combination of the above...

That's about it...oh and I gotta get it all done before Tuesday. Yeah.

Mkay I thought I would finally update these reserved posts with some pictures. This set is of the Case being prepped and finally powdercoated.

The case shipped direct from PC Design Laboratories unfinished.

Two things jumped out at me right away. The design and the hideous scratches all over the exterior.

This is a nightmare. Beautiful heavy gauge aluminum scoured with a coarse grinder...why?

Same here...the whole face has deep scratches all over it...

Even the back was scoured...wherever the grinder could reach anyway...stupid stuff...

All that would have to be sanded out...what a mess. I asked for a raw aluminum case to powdercoat.

Fabricated a clamping bracket for the radiator

One day turn around on the coat. Awesome service.

And ready for assembly.

Now while the case was off the bench I tested out the HW.

But the case was ready in no time so it was time to install the gear.

I ordered about $650 in goodies from PPC and hope they get here soon. Could not afford next day ($120 yow) but Priority from PPC has been good in the past.

I received the case today and went through a number of gyrations and almost went and bought a lesser case...but finally pulled the trigger and have comitted to the build.
