Default Fade2Black - My Water Cooled Rocketfish

Hi, first time case log here so gimme a bit of time to set everything up here..

First off. I acquired this RFFT off of ebay a while ago and all I've done so far is paint it black (plasti-dip) on the inside with a clear coat over that (pointless, but it prevents lots of scratching of the plasti-dip). Anyways. I cut 1 hole in the top of the case so far (you'll see in the pics) and put a blowhole fan up there (which wont matter because i'm putting the rad up there). Here's pics of the setup (this is my AM2 setup right now which is up for sale).

ON TO THE PICS!

The new build is going to contain the following:

- Intel Q9450 Processor
- DFI DK38 T2RB Motherboard
- Dual VisionTek Radeon 4850 Crossfire
- WD 74gb 10krpm Raptor HDD (OS)
- Hitatchi 250gb HDD (Storage)
- Philips DVDRW w/ Lightscribe
- Dtek Fuzion V2 w/ Quad Core Nozzle Inserts
- Swiftech 355 DDC 18W w/ alphacool acrylic top
- Magicool 240 slim rad (might upgrade to 360 rad but Im just doing a CPU loop for now)
- Bitspower 5.25 Bay Res w/ Temp Sensor

I havent ordered the WC gear yet, but the processor and video cards should be here today! I'll take some pics when they do!

06/09/09 - Update #1 - New equipment arrived! Dont have a worklog of what I did because camera is dead but I will make sure its charged before doing the WC loop!

Sounds like a cool build as long as you do some cable management.

That's a nice looking RF you got there! Where did you get the bright idea to clearcoat Plasti-Dip from? Pretty neat stuff isn't it? i bet that RF took a LOT of clearcoat since Plasti-Dip loves to eat it up.

Actually. It was just a light coat over it so it wasnt too bad.. It is terrible if you have bouncing sound though. I wouldnt recommend clear-coating it but I like the plasti-dip look. The functionality just isnt there though.

Default Update #1.

Sorry, I tried to get pics of these earlier but I left my camera on all day and it died and I was too damn excited to not put this together last night so I did without taking any pictures

Anyways. I cut some holes and did some more cable management last night, looks a TAD bit better but I'm waiting on my WC kit to arrive (I just ordered it today) and I have a new 5.25" HDD Drive that I'll by moving the rest of my HDD's into. Anyways here's 2 new pics of what happened since yesterday.

Cable management is not really one of my strong points but I think it looks a bit cleaner. I'm not going 100% because Im going to move in my WC loop and dont want to do it all over again.

Another pic just farther out a bit.

Any comments, suggestions, constructive critisizm? (And yes, that is a piece of foam behind the mobo on top because those panaflo's rattle really bad at low speed.)
