Alrite, I got all the cuts done exept for the handles and fan hole (have to grab a smaller hole saw bit tommorrow). I did a quick little mach up for a picture, the top isnt on but it will give you guys a good idea of how it is comming out.

All the pieces fit perfect, the small gaps in the picture are just becuase its not attatched, just sitting against itself.

I think im done for today, tommorrow I am going to drill the holes for the screws, and grab a couple hole saw bits. I should be able to finish assembly tommorrow .

One thing to consider for future upgrades might be the psu length. I know some of the more powerful ones are longer than normal. It looks like you have another small piece set for the back of psu. I might leave that out.

If you have a router, you might want to consider routing rabbets for strength.

Other than that, nice work. Can't wait to see the final pics!

hmm, I am going to use screws for that back piece so if I ever happen to get a longer PSU than the one I have I can always drill a couple holes farther back and move it. But I do have a pretty powerful psu already (1000 watt cooler master pro), so it is unlikely that I would ever need anything more than that.

If I have enough money I might grab a bit to do rabbets, my cash is stretched pretty thin though.

Thanks man

Just finished attaching most of the pieces for mockup, I also put all the parts in to see how it fits all together.. the only problem I ran into is It looks like I made the PSU and CD drive holes just a tiny bit to small, so I will have to sand them bigger. I also put the holes and standoffs for the motherboard.

I gotta say I wasn't expecting the bench to work as well as it does.

One of my GTX's died last night though so I am a bit bummed out. Now I gotta send that one in. I will probably grab another card as well so I will have three when I get the broken one back.

Now I need to:
pull it all apart
round some more edges
sand everything smooth
Fill some small holes
Put handles and fan hole in
Paint and clear
