Synergy: The interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects.
They have lived their lives in brutal contest; mortal enemies..  G5 lived his life as a workstation powerhouse. Formerly the flagship class; he has since been crippled to the very motherboard.  SX260 is a pint size powerhouse. He has lived his life in silence, but recently has been yearning to expand and has been fuming on the verge of overheating for some time. Can they combine to become... something better? Or will the fusion kill them both? Synergy Coming soon

~Reserved for the final pics, and mod summary.
~COMPLETED~  As you can see, the only unclean part of the case is the back. Most folks fabricated an entire back out of aluminum, but I have no access to such materials, so it shall remain just a slightly odd back.  All hail the mighty G5!   Here you can see the effect of having to drill though the Apple Standoffs, to thread them, and mount the motherboard tray on them.  However I counter-sunk all 4 of the holes, so now it looks pretty professional, and like it was an original thing.  Coup de grace:  No, I never intended for the Apple to shroud to be used, but it turns out that not only does it fit perfectly, but it also directs air around the PSU and GPU flawlessly! This mod was definitely a ton of fun, lots of challenges, and problems, but thanks to some help from my father it came out very nicely. Synergy is pending Cancellation. I have a lot on my plate right now, including a mod, and I need a car.
The G5 just needs a new motherboard (~$180) and its working, but I am not 100% sure this is the problem. I am thinking about getting a new motherboard, and selling it (I kind of already have 1 mod, and a few systems on a to do list). Thoughts, idea's, and comments are welcome.

Continue with the mod (albeit at a slower pace). Keep the case (pull the guts out of it and use the case in the meantime). Then take the guts and try to put it into another case (for a media PC or something like that)
