Ok so today my replacement mobo came anddd... the mobo wasn't the problem . As it turns out my i7 is dead so now I have to return my CPU to Intel and then Intel will 2nd Day Air me a replacement. I also found out that I left my 1366 mounting for my Apogee GTZ on the Classified that I sent back to EVGA, so now I don't have a backplate for my water block.

Ok so the problem has been solved and the computer is up and running. I ordered a backplate from Petras for the waterblock so I should be back under water by the end of the week. For now I'm running the stock air cooler (which really sucks, 75*C :O ).

The power supply has to be sent in for RMA but right now I'm running a 750W Ultra Pro that I picked up at a local shop.

Well I was very happy today when I got home from work and found a UPS package sitting in my room waiting. Didn't get to install it though until about an hour and half ago because I went to the races tonight.

OCing tomorrow.

I still have to find a way to place the momentary switch for the dvd drive somewhere where I can easily press it without taking front panel covers off. My first idea was to take the top drive cover and mod the 3.5" insert to be on small, spring-loaded rails with the button mounted on it so I could just press the entire 3.5" section of the top cover to open the drive. Thoughts?

Ok so I know I haven't updated in a little while (alright three weeks so its been more than a little while).

Ordered some red cold cathodes (3 15" tubes with sound module and 1 dual 12" kit) from Xoxide over the weekend. Prolly ordered a bit more than I'll need but hey for $22 total I figured I'll find something to do with the extras. Wish I would've found the $5 usb can fridge though while they were still in stock

I might think about doing the side window if I can save up the money but now that I've started college and also have a car payment on top of that it might be a bit hard to squeeze that expense in.

Finally got some shots of the cathodes in the dark posted. Sorry it took so long, I've been busy as usual and just hadn't gotten around to it.
