So you would've spent more than 100 bucks on spraypainting?

ah, mmmkay. I'd still rather spraypaint. Got my rivet gun for 10 bucks, I already have an air compressor, sandpaper's cheap. Paint/primer's cheap. But I guess if powdercoating will cost you less it's definitely a better option.

Im seriously suspecting what you used (primer vs paint) is incompatible and thats whats causing the problem. even with no primer the paint shouldnt rub off like powder

can you please re-link the primer an paints you used

Default Update

So the first thing id like to annouce is the new name for the project. My new computer is going to be called The Autobot from transformers. And the case is the armor.

Do to my failure to spray paint i got a quote for powder coat at this professional place here in Seattle and it'll cost no higher then $100 so powder coat here we come. The guy emailed me saying it would be about $95, but that's before i send a picture of the parts needed powder coating. I'll soon start to sand to bare steel for the powder coating.

I also have a bunch more ideas for this project and ill share those later after the powder coating is out of the way.
