Default [Project] The Autobots Armor
So let me start with what my plan is. Sorry i don't have any visuals like sketchup but since I'm only painting i think you guys will know what I'm doing by just reading.

THE PLAN

So what I'm going to do to this case is completely de-rivet it. Then I'm going to sand it down with my electric sander and/or sanding blocks. After then I'm going to set up all the case parts to be painted. I will first lay down the primer coats then the colored coats and clear coats.

I will be doing the interior of the case flat black from RustO-Leum with a Satin Clear coat from Krylon to give it some shine.

I currently do not have the case with me i just ordered it so it should be here in about 3 days. Which is perfect because then it'll be the weekend so i can go out and get my paint and other supplies for the project.

OUTLINE

1) receive case from newegg
2) go out to home depot and shucks auto parts to buy supplies (paint, sand paper, etc.)
3) start stripping case down
4) do the sanding and the painting
5) let it sit and take some pictures

I had to wait 3 days staring at my empty case until all my parts came in, it was torture!!

Managed to get it painted that weekend though, it's a very easy case to work with

dude thats why im doing the painting 2 months early lol so when i have enough money for the rest of the parts the case is all ready to go. since paint takes a long time to be ready to be handled with.

hmmmm okay lol. you the one who told me all i needed to know so that's why i jumped the gun on the case buying early. It shipped from newegg like 5 minutes ago so i should get it on Friday and then Saturday i'm going out to home depot and shucks auto parts to get my supplies.
