its actually the backing from an old poster frame. the $20 hobby lobby kind with the thin, MDF-type backing. i just cut it the the right side, added a bit of 1x2 on the bottom so i could have something to drill into through the HDD rack to hold it in place

EDIT: just so yall know, i actually kind of abandoned this project. i just wasnt happy with how the plasti-dip was peeling, the cable management, and cutting the door was gonna be really tough to do a good job on with the tools i have atm

Hmm, I think what you should do is get some more of that false floor material and add in some more barriers. I'll show you what I mean:



Put some of the material on the drives and over the front of the PSU.
