[COMPLETED] Excolo
So I've been wanting to give this poor old Dell a new lease at life, I'm honoring the P||| it had with retiring it, and replacing it with new slightly top of the line parts.
The victim:   The hardware:  Plan: Pretty it up, paint the exterior dark blue, paint the interior black, paint the hard drive cage and dvd drives red put some acrylic sidepanels on it maybe DVD Drive stuff:   Bottom / top:   The fan:  My two new fans are silver, I'm planning on having one in the front and one on the top hole.

So today I basically did nothing except paint a few things here 'n' there and realize that I need to get a sheet of 1/8" thick wood or aluminum so that I can screw my standoffs into it, because Dell did their usual tricks and make it so that you can't put anything in but their boards... go stupid dell wooohoooo... so um yeah here's what I did today. I let stuff dry and made a paintbox go me!
Getting on with life, here's what I did:    Not sure why the side panel looks like that but it does so what ever it gets a 4th coat of paint tomorrow... maybe but all my blue pieces are turning out slightly cloudy so maybe I'll keep it that way. And then where was a baby bunny in my backyard so I took a picture of that...  Oh yeah and the paint box, can't forget that..  Stuff is just sitting in there, red stuff is dry, blue thing is still drying.

Well...You can either try and make the blue consistent...or you can have all of the pieces that way. Personally - I think it would be easier to get them all consistent...rather than hoping you make the same "mistakes" on every piece...lol
