Hello and welcome to another of my worklogs. I probably shouldnt start another project whilst still finishing the last, but hey, this one wont cost me much



The idea is simple, get every component used in the build for 99p or as near as damnit (£1 is acceptable also if i see a really good bargain thats a little over, lets say i find an i7 975XE for £1.50, ill get it ), whilst still making it look ridiculously good. My other projects involve a fair bit of cash and i always end up going massively over the budgets i set myself - so i thought i'd try making a great mod for cheaps -its also an excercise in budgeting

as you would expect, this isnt going to be a monster bench recordbreaker :P but im gonna try my best!

Suggestions for a better name would be great BTW!

  • Modding materials - (each item)
  • Etc - You get the idea.

As such, any donations /99p components offered by members would be massively appreciated.

Congratulations! Great idea btw. +rep'd for the idea :P

I'd continue to search ebay for the CPU and well, ram is dirt cheap so that shouldn't be too hard, also try finding the worst GFX (well not the worst but cheapest) you possibly can.
