I don't think you're going to be able to fit everything in the case the way you want...

First of all, is your sketchup model drawn to scale?

Are you planning to put both radiators on the inside of the case? Is there enough room in the top above the motherboard to fit a radiator?

I don't think you will be able to have your dividing wall extend the full height of your case like you have planned. A 280 rad isn't the same size as two 140mm fans. They are more about 320mm long because of the water chambers and barbs on the ends.

I have a bunch of ideas for you which I will share after I get some sleep.

I'm glad you are here to help, your case is gorgeous, and pretty dam close to what I originally wanted to do. I am currently reworking a sketchup model to correct scale. The bottom acrylic piece in the second post on the first page is to scale. I have the SKB, if you would like it. I decided that I would take my time and redo the case to exact scale to see what I am working with. However I will point out that the original model is pretty close, because all of the imported parts were borrowed from the sketchup community, and are to scale for their real life counter parts.

As for the Rad, thanks for the info, I will add those measurements to see whether or not it will fit. The top rad will fit inside the case above the motherboard, the fans sit on top of the shroud outside of the case, if you check the stock pictures of the case. I do not think I would be able to mount any fans under the rad for a push pull configuration, but with separate loops for the CPU/NB & the GPU/SB, I think it should be sufficient. I could be way off base here as I do not know anything about water cooling yet either lol.

Also I think that the reservoir location is not optimal in that sketch, I think that I would get the micro res, and mount it to the wall above the pumps, there is enough room there between the wall and the board/GPU's for that, and I think it would make the looping of the tubes easier/cleaner.

For now though, I am going to get the Corsair Hydro, and work on just finishing the walls to make the air build version of this case, and then do another version of the wall for the WC setup, that way I can just swap out the inside wall and that's all I would have to change.

Thanks again for the help, and look forward to working with you on this! I need the help lol.

Thanks alot! I hope so too, just not sure where I am going to get the funds for $700 worth of watercooling lmao...any sponsors out there that want to get Eve alive?

Oh ya, I decided to name her Eve, since this is my first ever case build, and you know Adam & Eve kind of thing lol

When I used sketchup a few months ago, I found that almost every model I downloaded from the user community was either not to scale or had a few incorrect dimensions. Personally, I would check the overall dimensions of any part you download, and would not trust any of the models for accuracy as far as hole placement and mounting goes.

The Corsair Hydro will probably be a waste of money. A nice heatsink and fan will give you lower temperatures and will probably be worth more if you try to sell it.

If you upload the sketchup here, I will download it later and show you the changes I would make.

Ok, I will get it up in a bit. I am redoing the whole case from scratch, measuring the dimensions of each piece as I go, just the frame, without all of the extra top shrouds, front shroud, etc...

So far I have the front of the frame and the 2 top rails done, about to do the bottom, then the sides and back, should be maybe an hour. I also checked the dimensions of the rad I was looking at and its 153mm x 316mm by 31mm, so once I finish the frame and drop in my bottom acrylic piece, I will drop in the make shift rad I made (just a box to the dimensions specified on the spec sheet), and see what I am working with.

I just got my son's video card back from RMA, so I am going to install that first, and then finish up on the sides. Once I finish the frame I will upload that sketch instead, as it will be more accurate to what I am actually working with.

Thanks again for the help!

Eh didn't get to finish it off yet, and have to get to work lol running late

Can anyone tell me how to upload a vector I exported from Sketchup so I can give to a friend to verify if it's correct?

Also, how does the rendering work with kytheria? SP?

Links to guides are great, can't look now headed out the door

Thanks again

I believe the two pumps below the graphics cards were meant to represent reservoirs.
