you got it. However, the typhoon iii may make this build (the wc portion any way) possible sooner. From what I've read, it's a pump, reservoir all in one, and does a pretty good job with a dual loop. Not to mention it would save me a ton of money and a lot of room in the case over all.

How can I get you the skb file? I've got the frame pretty much done & posted in the third post on the first page. I'm going to work on the motherboard tray and the walls tomorrow when I get up. Can anyone tell me how to get a mirrored texture look?

I've been thinking about how I would mount the rear wall, and I think maybe I will make a cut in the bottom acrylic, like a slot to slide it into so there ar no screws, then a piece of 2 sided tape on the top to stick on the case. Thoughts?
Also open to some color ideas, I'm meeting a guy tomorrow to show him the case and talk about the paint job. I'm thinking maybe candy red with the hdd cage black, or maybe vise versa.

Ok back to work lol

How can I get you the skb file?
Compress the .skp file in a .zip archive. Then come to this thread, go to advanced reply, then click the "manage attachments" button in the additional options section. Upload and attach the .zip archive, then submit the post.

If you haven't already, I suggest you check out the watercooling section of Overclock.net. You may want to start your own thread to get some help with choosing parts for your loops, and you can/should check with us before you order anything to make sure you are getting the right stuff.

Thanks for the .zip tip lol shows you how much (or little) I really know.

I started cutting out the bottom of the case today, but found out that the reinforced cutting discs for my dremel don't like aluminum too much. I got through the 3 discs I had, and the bottom still has a bit to cut, one whole side and the 2 ends. Unfortunately I won't be able to day anything about it today. I work again tonight (12hr shifts overnight suck!), but I'm off Monday & Tuesday, so I should be able to get a bit done.

I have about an hour and a half before I need to leave, and I'm just gonna go rest I'm tired lol. I will work out a lot more tomorrow, I should be able to finish the cuts (bottom of case and hdd side walls), and finish working on my sketchup.

Here is the bottom acrylic dxf and the skp of what I have done of the frame so far.

Have a good one!

Quick edit too...if anyone can get me the dimensions of the new typhoon III (or if maybe you know of a skp of it or the EVGA Micro X58 board ) please let me know, I'd like to test it in my case when I get the sketchup finished, so I can start measuring out components.

When working with Google Sketchup, Sketchup creates two files with your project name- one with the extension .skp and the other .skb. The .skp file is the one you want to work with. The .skb file is a backup from your previous save. The .skp stores your most recent save, while the .skb file stores your second most recent save.

I will take a look at the .skp when I have time.

Haven't had anymore time to do much...but I made the bottom cut, and cut the back of the motherboard tray lip off, and put together a mock up of the pc, with the psu in the proper place, and fired it up for some benching for fun. lol

here are some links to the bad picks hehe I will better organize and add this weekend, I am finally off.

Well, after a long break with no money lol here is another minor update. I finished all of the cutting I needed to do on the drive cage, and main assembly cage pieces, cut out the bottom, and got it all painted. Tomorrw I should get the window and fan cut out of the side panel, and then hopefully (fingers crossed) get the bottom floor and front piece cut too. I have the acrylic pieces all together already, just need to get them on a laser table to cut out the fan placement and psu hole. I have a plan for the inner wall and wall below the motherboard and the spot where the psu sat originally, but I will wait to let the pictures show what I am doing, because I might not like it lol

Some pics that aren't the best, but wife has the camera loaned out to her mother, so been stuck using the iphone:

I like the 2 tone pane color scheme on the inside and I am a huge fan of the Xigmatek fans. Those and the ones with white LEDs. Can't way to see the outcome.

ps: nice building, my area isn't nearly that large or clean.
